I always knew I was destined to be involved with an organization in the name of medical science; and I was pretty sure it would be in the field of Oncology. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton University in So Cal with a degree in Biology, and later received my MBA. I think I am one of the few who actually put my education to use in a career that started out with developing Chronic Disease Programs and now with developing training education programs for physicians and clinical staff. My love for science, teaching and medicine is almost comparable to my passion for art and culture.

In 2002, I left the country for a year to travel. It opened up my mind and heart to the realities of life in other parts of the world – both good and bad.

When I returned, the desire to volunteer my time and service to those in need became stronger; and further when 2 of my best friends were diagnosed with throat and lymphatic cancer. I kept saying, “I can do this when I retire, or when I have time!”

I finally found the Love Hope Strength Foundation. Not only does it focus on underprivileged cancer care centers internationally and all sorts of awareness programs, but it does a lot of this through musical venues…another one of my passions..

LHSF has the same values and passions as I do - Medical Science, Education Programs, Music, and Travel…and all the while helping underprivileged cancer patients.

My volunteering and donating time and money to this cause starts now, but won’t end here. Please take a minute to learn about this organization and the trip to Peru. If you can donate to the cause under my name, or would like to contact me personally on how you can contribute, please do so.
