Jaime Cohen currently resides in Dallas, Texas with her 1 year old daughter and husband. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psycology from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. She went on to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Parkland Hospital in Dallas as a social worker and later switched to Human Resources working for Behringer Harvard, a Real Estate Investment firm. Currently, Jaime’s main focus is raising and loving her 1 year old daughter, Claire.
Jaime unfortunately has known people very close to her that have battled various types of cancer. Both of her grandmothers, grandfather and a close high school friend have all been taken by the disease. After hearing Jamie (James, Chip, etc.) speak of LHS and his experience at Mt. Evererst, Jaime felt a unwavering duty to join the trip, in hopes to be an inspiration to others as Jamie was for her.
