Nese has always loved the outdoors, traveling, music, hiking/backpacking, history and photography. This trek is a chance to put that all together along with a cause. After losing 3 very close friends in the past several years to different types of cancer, she has been looking for something to do to help eradicate cancer from the world. With Mike and James Chippendale’s creation and passion, that wish can come true. Nese has several years experience in backpacking and hiking with the Sierra Club and on personal trips. She looks forward to sharing this adventure with the friends she already has on this trek along with the variety of interesting people that will also be taking this historic journey.

All UK trekkers who receive donations through the UK weblink will be in partnership with Love Hope Strength Foundation UK. Donations will benefit the UK charity and will be donated on behalf of the UK trekkers to the nominated cancer centre in Peru.

Hi Nese,
You don’t know me but I am your Mom’s cousin. My mom was your grandpa John’s sister. Paddy just sent me this site today. My daughter-in-law died from breast cancer when she was 32, leaving my son with a 9 month old and 5 year old. That was 5 years ago and it is still really tough. I think what you are doing is wonderful. I will keep checking this site to see how things are going.
I know your Mom is very proud of you.
