Foley Sisters

Posted by Love Hope Strength on Apr 4, 2008

Molly Harrington, Shannon Foley and Erin Foley are three sisters from Philadelphia, very much alike and very unique at the same time. All three sisters have a strong love of family and faith, a passion for adventure…and are so excited to finally undertake a great one together! Cancer has touched each of their lives deeply and intimately, both in their immediate family and amongst their friends, and they’ve always turned to one another for strength, support and love, or a glass of wine!

Raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, these three sisters had a great childhood with their two hysterical brothers, Ryan and Patrick, and their amazing parents Mary Ann and Mike. All three have had their share of adventures, from backpacking Europe to running safaris in Kenya to teaching English in Spain. They actually have more in common than they’d like to admit! These days, Molly is living in their hometown of Lafayette Hill, married to Brian and raising their four beautiful and rambunctious boys. Shannon and Erin are missing them every day! Shannon is loving life in Denver, and enjoying her role as the Executive Director of Love Hope Strength. She has succeeded in applying her previous work experience and her energy towards a cause that we’re all truly passionate about, which is the fight against cancer. Erin is also living it up in Denver. She’s very excited about her upcoming wedding to Tony, her career as a mortgage broker, and all the adventures that will ensue!

Molly, Shannon and Erin feel blessed by the love in their live, and they are very excited to be joining forces to make a difference in the fight against cancer. It gives them just one more excuse to spend time together! Erin, Shannon and Molly would like to invite their friends and family to send them the names of friends and family who have been touched by cancer. They will be carrying a flag with them to honor those that have lost the fight and celebrate those who have won the battle, like their brother Ryan. Please post a comment below and submit as many names as you desire.

Hey, no one asked me if I wanted to come??? I could have ditched the kids and old man! Not really. Maybe next year Heather, Meg and I will join you guys and we will leave all the guys to fend for themselves? What a grand adventure that would be!!!

Best of luck girls!

Hi Molly, Shannon & Erin,
Big hugs to each of you from your favorite babysitter!! I am so proud of each of you and ALWAYS knew (even back when I used to drive you to Irish Dancing practice!) that you kids would do something VERY SPECIAL with your lives.

Thank you for doing this; if you could add the name of my dear mother, Mary Connor, to your list of those you are honoring, I would be most appreciative.

All the best to you!!

Love - Kathy
